If you love sea sports there is a big variety of activities among which you can choose the one that best suits you.

Especially two beaches of Lefkada are special for surfing and attract not only Greek, but people from all over the world, who love this sport. The beach of Vasiliki is famous for wind-surfing, as the wind in this specific location has the suitable intensity and direction and the beach of Ai-Giannis, which is very close to the city, is well-known to the lovers of kite-surfing who practice their favorite sport, filling the beach with so many different colors of the kites.

Of course there are Special Sea sports Centers in Vasiliki and Nidri where all those sea sports are being taught to beginners, so you can do some of those activities for the very first time!

If you want to choose a team sport, in Nidri you can have fun with your friends by doing “banana” or the more adventurous “fly fish”. Moreover, you could also try cubes! If you prefer something that is calmer, you could try a ride with canoe and pedal boat or dive to the incomparably beautiful seabed! However, if you love height we would suggest parasailing, a way also to admire Nydri and Skorpios from above.
